Step One: Choose the Currency You Want to Convert
On the main screen of the Crypto.com App, select ‘Convert’ from the side menu.
From the currency selection dropdown, choose the currency you would like to convert FROM. For example, if you would like to convert your BTC to ETH, select BTC as your FROM currency.
Next, choose the currency you would like to convert TO. In our example, we want to convert BTC to ETH, so we’ll select ETH as our TO currency.
Step Two: Enter the Amount You’d Like to Convert
You can either swipe up or down on the slider to choose how much you’d like to convert, or you can enter a specific amount in the box provided.
The rate at which your selected currencies will be converted is displayed below the amount box. The total amount of your transaction (including any network fees) is displayed in blue under ‘You will receive’.
Step Three: Convert!
Once you’re happy with both the FROM and TO currencies as well as the amount you’ll be converting, press ‘Convert Now’!
Step Two: Enter the Amount You Want to Convert
The amount you want to convert is entered in the “You have” field. Only the available amount for conversion will be displayed here. The “You have” field is also where you can enter a custom amount for conversion.
The “You will get” field displays the estimated amount of Crypto.com Coin (CRO) you will receive after the conversion has been processed. The estimated amount is based on the current market rate and is subject to change.
There is a 1% fee for converting Crypto to Fiat, and a 2% fee for converting Crypto to Stablecoins. These fees are paid in CRO.
CRO can be used to pay for fees at a discounted rate. If you have CRO, you can select the “Pay with CRO” button to pay your fees at a discounted rate. The discount depends on your MCO Tier Status. After you have reviewed and confirmed the details of your conversion, click on the “Convert Now” button to start the conversion process.
Step Three: Select Your Destination Wallet
Crypto.com does not currently offer the ability to convert between crypto assets directly on the app. In order to do this, you will need to use a third-party service. We suggest using Changelly, as they are a reputable service with competitive rates.
1. Go to https://changelly.com/
2. Enter the amount of crypto you would like to convert in the “You Send” field. Be sure to select the correct wallet for your destination currency in the “You Get” field.
3. Click “Exchange Now”.
4. On the next page, you will be shown an estimated rate and given the option to select a different rate if you wish. Once you are happy with the rate, click “Next”.
5. Enter your Crypto.com wallet address in the “Destination Wallet Address” field and click “Next”.
6. Review all of the information on the next page and click “Confirm & Make Payment” if everything looks correct.
7. You will now be taken to Changelly’s payment page where you will need to enter your wallet address for the currency you are sending as well as your Crypto Wallet Address Again, be sure that you enter these addresses correctly!
8 . After your transaction is complete, Changelly will send your converted crypto directly to your Crypto Wallet Address
